Yes, in my autotext I had filename and filename & path. The autotext is in my toolbar. Our tech accidentially deleted filename and path off of it.

Thanks for trying to help. I really appreciate it.

Do you have a backup?
Mar 20, 2012 12:10AM PDT

It makes sense to have a backup of such settings.

https://experts.missouristate.edu/display/csvhelpdesk/How+to+Move+Word+2003+Autocorrect+to+a+Different+PC#HowtoMoveWord2003AutocorrecttoaDifferentPC-MovingfromWord2003toanotherPCusingWord2003 tells how to do that.

But, also, http://en.allexperts.com/q/Microsoft-Word-1058/Word-2003-auto-text.htm tells they are stored in the normal.dot file. So just having a backup of that would be fine also.

If you don't have a backup, all you can do is to re-enter them. They aren't included standard, so you must have added them yourself.

I don't think my backup stored that, but I'll check. If not, that's what I was trying to find out...how to re-enter. Just typing it in doesn't do the job. My help shows me the topic, but won't let me select it.

Thanks!
