1. Try the usual deletion of normal.dot and try again.
2. The DOS based Windows do run low on resources and such odd things happen. No cure is known or planned.

I?m currently using Microsoft Word 2000 (I only have Word installed from Microsoft Office Suite) with Win95 on my Compaq Presare 992 Desktop PC. Sometimes, when I have a Word document opened for editing, the scroll buttons on the right-hand side of the Word Window will be blue instead of black and won?t work. This happens with 2 of the 4 buttons, one being the ?Previous Find/Go To? and the second being the ?Next Find/Go To? buttons (the ones that advance to the next page and reverse to the previous page). Everyone that Ihave asked does not know what I?m talking about and no one else appears to have this problem. This can be a real hassle when working with large documents, which the majority of the documents I have are very large. Can anyone help and let me know what I need to do to get them back to black and operational? I can?t find any reference to this in the help menu (as usual). Thank you in advance for your help.
Kathy
