Mj, More Info Please

Which version of XP are you using> SP1, SP2, something else?

Which media player are you attempting to use when you view the videos?

Please give use any EXACT error messages you see.

Is this happening with ALL videos or just some?

All pics or just some?

In the meantime, please try installing the newest version of Sun's Java and the new Windows Script Engine from the links below:

Click on the link to Sun's Java below, then click on the "Download Windows J2SE JRE" download link that is in the "J2SE v 1.4.2_07 JRE includes the JVM technology" section. Download the file to your desktop, scan it with your antivirus (just to be sure it's clean), then shut down all background programs, including your antivirus, then run the installer.

AFter that, download and install the updated Script engine from the link below:

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Although it appears like you must "validate" your Windows version, it's not a requirement. At the next page, you can still obtain the download by clicking on the "NO" option

Hope this helps and let us know more.

Mj, And Did You ???

...try the suggestions that I listed earlier?

If this is only happening at a few sites and the installations I mentioned aren't working, then it may well be the site that is having a problem. It may not be your fault at all.

Still, AFTER installing Java and the new script engine from the earlier links, you could try following the procedures below. First, look for spyware using ALL of the free spyware removal tools below. Download them, install them, update them, then run them.
