Wonder why 'The Wall' thread has been locked.

Went back and read the exhortation according to the MODS.

I then re-read the posts in his thread and was very surprised to see it has been locked as I am un aware of it being in violation of the exhortation.

That said, I post more in V&S and XP than I do here, and perhaps it is just that maybe my quasi tech brain has reached and failed to grasp.....

Must be something removed already.

Which brings up a question I've been wondering about. If you clean a thread of offending material, why would it still be locked? I'm just guessing something was removed since I don't see anything that should be a violation there. It's certainly an apropo subject in the news recently.

what I found curious

was the Army Chaplin being fired.

i mean if you do not want them to preach and do other Chaplin like things, why not simply get rid of the position altogether?

There has to be a cost effect here as well.

In a nutshell because DK didn't like having...

it pointed out several times that his "fair and balanced" post was incorrect in that Justice BLACK in Everson v. Board of Education was the precedent for "wall of separation" because prior to that scholars readily acknowledged that Jefferson's private letter to the Danbury Baptist Association to reasure them that the First Amendment prevented the Federal Government from establishing a national religion and that the Tenth Amendment left each state free to do so as Connecticut had recently done by establishing Congregationalism as their state church.

It saves him from ever having to look at links refuting his uneducated and erroneous claims while leaving his eroneous claim intact and still posted (each of his posts referencing Jefferson is still there but ALL showing him to be incorrect have been deleted and NONW were remotely "personal attacks"))
