Hmm...... I "think" the reason is:

"It just uses windows media player (the reason why it only works in IE Wink) to open the cd trays. Luckily mozilla/firebird doesn't do that kind of thing ".

If you do NOT have WMP - it won't work??

You might also see my orig post in this thread go away which will make it even more confusing...GEEZ

On to WMP.
The level I have is 6.01

As you can see I keep it updated to the latest because I use the heck out of that sort of stuff..Happy

LOL Sorry about starting a new thread but this max post/thread thing is a little confusing.

The only thing you have to do to keep posting is...

Look at the top in your browser (address)- you'll see: http://reviews etc./5208 - change the number into 5224 and hit "enter" this way the thread goes on Happy

Yep, you are "well" updated with WMP 6.01 Devil I am a "bit" better - I have WMP 7.01 Wink

Well I'm starting to think that the reason I don't see this CD opening thing is because I keep WMP at such a state of the art level. Happy

Oh well I'm off to watch some streaming video or listen to radio channels or ???? all done via the hyper-channel called a 'voice grade phone line',,,ya right.

Thanks for the tip on 5208>5224.
