Won't start-just beeps

by Drjustsayno / May 13, 2006 3:55 PM PDT

My son's pc running Windows XP, won't start. When he pushes the power button, it only "beeps". Can you tell me if this means power supply is shot or something worse? Thanx.

If it didn't, then remove the video card and push it in and out 2 or 3 times and then try to start.

Hopefully, it may resolve your problem.
