Wolfowitz to Resign From World Bank

As for Wolfowitz, he only gave his girlfriend the job under the guidance of the ethics board there. As far as I know, there have been no other allegations of nepotism or corruption on his part.
As for the rest of the World Bank employees, there have been many accusations of corruption.

Was getting Vernon Jordan to help Lewinsky get a job at Revlon unethical? I suppose it would under certain circumstances. Is it comparable to what Wolfawitz did with his girlfriend? From what I can tell... not really.

My understanding of Wolfawitz's girlfriend is that she is an extremely capable women who was fully qualified for the job she got. What is questionable is the methodology Wolfawitz used to put her there.

That was 20 months after she stopped working at the White House, and 11 days after she was subpoenaed by Paula Jones' lawyers, and 10 days before she filed her affidavit denying an affair with Clinton. It was also 2 days after she quit her Pentagon job and 2 days before she had Vernon Jordan-arranged interviews with Revlon and Burson-Marsteller in New York City. (Revlon offered her a job; Burson-Marsteller did not.)

Did Clinton get her a job at the Pentagon? Maybe... I can't find any definitive reference. Did he get her a job with the Federal government? All evidence I have read here and other places would indicate she did got it on her own through other means.

Mr. Wolfowitz is being run out of town because he (as a boss) had a sexual relationship with a subordinate and then is accused doing something inappropriate, (Getting employment as a result of that sexual relationship), it is the same. The circumstances around it are different, but it is the same issue. I am still amazed that the feminists never squealed one word about that about the President.
