WMP security settings problem

Hi,
windows media player tells me that it is able to .swf files. however, when i tried to open a file of that type, i got a security alert that says: 'your current security settings do not allow this action'. so does anyone know what i should change so i can watch them in media player? the files were downloaded and saved (using SaveFlash) from www.larrycarlson.com. i am able to open and watch them with IExplorer and Quicktime, but for convenience purposes, i would like to watch them in media player.

I'm not sure what version of WMP you're using, but if classic menus are being used, go Tools->Options. If not, right-click the title bar and go Tools->Options. From there select the Security tab, and check any/all boxes. Then click "Zone Settings" and set your IE Internet settings to the standard Medium, or lower temporarily if necessary.
