wmp problems

I am using wmp 11 xp. Every time I burn tracks onto a cd after 5/6 minutes it starts to jump on playback...This carries on for 2/3/4 minutes and then plays normally again. The rest of the cd always plays fine. Please do not ask me to go back to wmp 10 cos it happened on that and on wmp 9.

I have tried to play in various other cd mediums. Cd Player, Dvd,Player, Car cd player, etc, etc. It always has the "jumps" a few minutes into the play

My choice for creating AudioCDs is CDBURNERXP. And one of the things I do is to record at single digit X speeds since I've found my players to cough and sputter if I let the recording run at full speed. Today I use the 8X record speed for AudioCDs.

Sorry, I haven't used WMP to create AudioCDs so I can't help there.
