Jul 5, 2010 5:49AM PDT

i have a new computer and windows 7 home premium installed. i have ordered a western digital "live tv hd media player" and do research prior to its arrival. i stumbled upon a wmp function called "play to". but the media player that came with the windows version i have does not seem to have or at least i can not find it. if want to stream media to tje wd live hd media player will i need the "play to" function? if so where would i find a download for it, the only one i have found is for windows 7 N or NK versions and i am not familiar with those version at all. i hope this was the correct forum. thanks, larry

It might help if you tell
Jul 5, 2010 5:53AM PDT

- WHERE you stumbled on it
- what exactly the wd "live tv hd media player is" (model, and link please to the specs)
- what (audio) output connections your new computer has
- what (audio) input connections your new media player has (that's an extract from the specs above)
- what cable you're planning to use (or already ordered, maybe) to connect the 2
