I got about 40 Gigs of music on my computer and most of it has the artist name in the title or the title in the artist name. I was wondering if their wouldnt be any program wich would set my songs artist and title for me cause its impossible for me to change 6000 songs names one by one.

Plz help me solve this problem

I too run into this problem. Apparently some Cd's just don't provide this data. And sometime it isn't available online by using the "View Album Info" button. If there is such an application available (particularly freeware) I sure hope someone posts a link to it.

If you try the freeware player MediaMonkey (Search on Download.com), there is an "Auto-Tag from Amazon" Try that.

I too had been experiencing this. Turned out my Firewall (ZA in my case) was blocking WMP from accessing the Internet. After allowing WMP to access the Internet, the first time I opened WMP while online the Title/Artist info was filled in. There is also a "View album info" button at the top.

Don't know if this is necessarily the problem in your case, but it's probably worth checking out.

Hope this is helpful.
