It's a setting somewhere with words like REARRANGE MY MUSIC.
You may want to turn it off.

I have the latest Windows Media Player, running on Windows 7.
Yesterday I turned my laptop on and (by itself) WMP had renamed twelve songs, moved them into different artist folders, and changed album titles. I thought it was a glitch. Until this morning when I turn on my laptop and find 15 fresh songs that have all my renamed and rearranged. For someone who religiously manages their music library, this is nightmare!
Does anyone know why my music library is being comprised my WMP? I haven't done anything differently with my computer. It just sort of happened. I ran virus scans, etc... but everything came up clean. Has anyone heard of this? Know how to stop it from happening?
Thanks.
