WMP and Nero not getting along

I just recently installed the latest version of Nero and now WMP does not work. Every time I try to use WMP it looks as if it will start and then goes to that error report nonsense.
I have uninstalled Nero and WMP works again. I reinstall it and leave out the Nero player and still WMP does not work.
I had Nero 7 in here before and it worked fine but it seems that the latest version is doing this.
The only other software that I installed was lightscribe software so that Nero would recognize the drive as a lightscribe drive. However that does not seem to matter as I only uninstall Nero and WMP works.

Any suggestions.... Thanks... Brett

That's the video encoder/decoder from Nero, indeed.

Posts in http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PageIndex=1&SiteID=17&PageID=1&PostID=1300281 and http://www.mcse.ms/message1433475.html suggest to simply rename it (easy to undo). This might cripple some part of Nero, but if it helps making WMP 11 healthy you might find it a good deal.
