The Roxio plug-in doesn't work with all CDRW drives. If you are running InCD, expect such a message?
I'm in the process of switching over to a new computer, running Windows 2000 (downloaded all upgrades/patches). I downloaded Windows Media Player 9 (and the Roxio plug-in), and everything seemed ok, but when I go to burn a CD it gives me the message "No device detected". I previously copied a CD using Nero, so I know the computer detects the CDR, it has to be a WMP issue. I uninstalled Nero just in case there was a conflict, no change. There's no other player currently installed on the machine.
At this point I just want to get my WMAs burned and ditch the wretched thing, I'm so frustrated. Help!
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
