That's the way to do a few files. There are some converting software out like Audio Converter for $19.90 but I have never tried it.
Concerning the question today in the music weekly:
Q: I recently purchased some music from Yahoo Music, and it was downloaded in WMA 9 format. Unfortunately, I have a Sony NW-E507 player, which does not support this format, and Yahoo Music does not give refunds. I don't want to spend another 30 bucks listening to music I have already purchased, so can you suggest a freeware converter (from WMA 9 to MP3)?

I have sucessfully put these type files into the Windows media player and then burned the file to a cdrw disk (wmp burns the song as a cda file). Then I use my Matchbox Jukebox to convert the cda file to mp3 and it play and burns fine from there!
