WLM - various syncing (?) issues

I was really hoping to figure out the solution to my WLM issues (via tinkering and reading message board posts, etc.) but, after a number of weeks of frustration, it seems I can't.

Before I get into my long, detailed story I'd like to ask this.... What _are_ the correct ports (in and out) for 1) AOL mail and 2) Gmail?
