A group of archaeologists were studying cave dwellings in the remote Zangara region of the Amazon rain forest. They had just broken through into a new cave, but as it was late at night, they decided to wait until morning to examine the interior. While they were making camp, it began to rain. In just a few minutes the downpour became a deluge and one of the archaeologist's tents had a leak in it.
Well, he knew he wasn't going to get any sleep with the stream of water coming in on him so he decided to move his tent into the mouth of the newly opened cave.
The next morning he rose before the others and headed down to the river to bathe.
One of the others didn't bother with that or even breakfast, he was too eager to explore the cave dwelling. No sooner had he entered that he came rushing out again and headed to the group's telex machine, wanted to be the first to report his incredible find.
Although primitive man was thought to communicate with crude grunts and gestures, the artifacts he uncovered show that primitive man actually had a highly developed language structure.......
which included past tents.
