If Dell, then Dell and if Sony you use Sony internal miniPCI cards. Ask Sony what they have.
-> Be aware that 108G is not an accepted standard they'll have a card for. If your laptop is 802.11g, then I'd stop looking.
i use a 54Mbps WGR614v4 netgear wireless router and have a sony vaio (PCG-6D1L) which has the built in wireless. I dont want to have a wireless card sticking out of my computer but how do i find out how fast a connection i can get. if i upgrade to a 108 or better router, can my laptop handle it? or is this the best i can do? thanks!
