Wireless webserver

Aug 24, 2004 3:36AM PDT

I am running a webserver that is using a wireless d-link 54g card. Once in awhile i am not able to connect to the site and i cant figure out why. The connection is always on and it does not go into sleep mode and power save mode is turned off.

I have my cable modem going to a wired router then a wire running from that router to a wireless router and that leads to my server.

Which router should i setup port forwarding on?
And why is it sometimes i can connect and sometimes i can not, (i never loose connection to that pc to the internet)
I am guessing it is a networking problem but i can not figure what it could be, Why it sometimes works and sometimes does not, i can not replicate it, it just happens randomly, Usually when the computer is idle but not always.

Can someone PLEASE help!

Remember that you are sharing the radio channel with other things are 2.4GHz and as such, even a microwave could blast everyone off the channel.

It's not a reliable link and you are just proving it again.

so your guess is that it is interfearence? but i never have a problem with the internet or connecting to it from within my network. Still think its interfearence?
