Wireless via laptop and Windows 98SE: Cannot Find Page error

Nov 16, 2004 5:29AM PST

I've just set-up a wireless network with a Lynksys router installed by Comcast. I have a laptop (Windows 2000, wirless card) and a desktop (Windows XP, Ethernet wire) on the network. My internet connection is through Comcast cable attached to the router.

I'm trying to add another laptop with Windows 98 and a wireless card. The third laptop can see the network: The network name shows up. When I entered the WEP key, it appears I'm on the network.

PROBLEM: When I use Microsoft Explorer 6.0 ? or any browser ? I get a message that says, "Page Cannot Be Found."

Have I missed a step along the way? Is something improperly configured?

Thanks,

Zaph
