Wireless unit compatable with a Samsung Z320 Home Cinema

Aug 27, 2009 6:48AM PDT

Can anyone out there give me advice on which wireless unit will work with my home cinema system. The user manual(which is also for anothe five models) says I should use an SWA 4100 but I cannot find this product on any wesbite in Ireland or the UK. I can, however find an SWA 4000, is this compatable?
Also, does it come with a TX card and can I purchase/use an ASC microphone to maximise the home cinemas potential.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Stuey

Stueylfc,

I can't speak for the compatibility in that region. The 4100 comes with a TX card, but I don't believe you can purchase the microphone. If that feature comes standard, it normally comes with the mic. Again, that would have to be verified in the region you're in.

Hi HD Tech,

Thank you for the information but it didn't answer my question.
Can I use an SWA 4000 on my Z320 home cinema system?

Stueylfc,

From what I can find, and based on what the manuals says, no, the SWA4000 will not work. The size of the TX card is different. If the manual says the SWA4100 is required, it seems to me that the only unit that will work is the SWA4100.
