Wireless suddenly slow

by makaveli1989 / November 3, 2008 3:25 PM PST

Hey,

I got a Laptop with Vista 32 bit, wireless connection to the router worked fine all the time. yesterday the speed started to decline and eventually the connectivity crashed. right now, i cannot connect to the router. in fact, i need to take my laptop close to the router, about 5 feet, to get a appropriate connection. i thought that it might be a wireless adapter problem, but i went to the university this morning with my laptop and i could connect w/out any problems, speed was very good. i reinstalled vista, chaged the router channel, but it still crashes. it often states limited connectivty.

Is your router set up per our forum sticky? If not, why not.
