Wireless speed question

Feb 5, 2006 3:22AM PST

I get my internet here in Argentina via Satellite at 128/64. It is expensive, almost US$200/month. I use a DLink DI-534 router. My question is, with these new routers out there, can they speed up things and when I am downloading, will I noticed a difference is getting a webpage on my screen. Thank you

a little to do with the speed.

And since you are talking about wireless signal, Line of Sight, Interference, Distance etc. become a factor in your speed/signal strenght.

They claim it can boost your speed about 10x and increase the range 3x.

But again, do not think that you will get 10x of your current speed...
