Wireless smart keyboard

Dec 1, 2012 10:08AM PST

Does anyone know if there is a compatible full sized smart keyboard for a UN60D8000 smart TV. They list all the newer TVs and keyboards that are compatible but don't mention any 2011 models. Hopefully there is one.

I would think that IF the TV has bluetooth capability a B/T keyboard should work year of mfg notwithstanding.

Try an USB keyboard as a test.

That's not the full model name so I can't look at this at all. But there is no list for simple reasons such as how to not show favoritism and keep up with models worldwide. My thought is samsung should label their own at 200 bucks for those that will not want to try the usual logitech keyboards.

Hi Charggers98,

As far as I know, the only 'keyboard' is the Qwerty remote that came with it. So unfortunately, there is no full-sized keyboard that could work with it.

How about that Android remote control?

Techy but does this model support that?

Hi Bob,

The app requires at least Android 2.1 (Eclair), and that Galaxy player runs Gingerbread. So yes, it'll work.

And no, Amazon got that spec wrong. It's a single-core, ARM processor, not x86-based.
