The television can be connected to the computer for viewing, but it will not transmit an internet connection from the TV to the computer or vica verca.
To connect the television to the internet, you can either use a wireless dongle, hardwire it, or in some cases, people have successfully used a wireless bridge, however Samsung can not provide support for setting up a bridge. If you get one, I definitely recommend getting one of the same brand as your router to avoid being ping-ponged during troubleshooting.
Keep me posted.
I just ordered a Samsung plasma model# PN58A760 mainly because of its ability to connect wirelessly to the internet. Can I connect this tv with an iMac and do I need one of these hard to find Linksticks?
