Wireless routers compatible with OSX

Dec 17, 2006 12:57AM PST

Hi,

I am about to buy a Macbook Pro and would like to buy a new wireless router with it. I am not really interested on the Airport Extreme but would like to buy a known router like a Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, Belkin etc.

What I would like to find out is this: Is there a web page where all wireless routers compatible with OSX are displayed?

Thank you

Never had an issue. But...

Then again we hit some issues with WEP, WPA, etc, but never had an issue connecting with a router out of the box. Go figure. You can see why a web page wouldn't exist. You would have to list so many.

IP is IP is IP... 802.11a/b/g is the same standard... if everything is configured correctly, everything will work. I have used Linsys, D-Link, Belkin and other wireless routers with my Macs. When configured properly, everything works. When not, issues happen.
