General discussion

wireless routers

Jul 30, 2004 10:09AM PDT

I'm looking for a wireless router w/ VPN and possibly
printserver. Two questions:

1. Any user reviews/advice?
2. Does a VPN connection require a static IP from the
ISP or can I assign one on the subnet mask?
Thanks to all, Ron

I can't recommend any with the print server internal. I've seem too much time lost on that. But the Linksys VPN router will be fine for most. If the VPN router doesn't have a WAP, add it.

As to static IP, maybe not. Look up how to use a Dynamic DNS service with google.
