Many models of dlink and linksys have this as a standard feature. Never saw the one you list. The site should list which routers are supported. There is no real standard way to doing this so the router manufacture need to write custom stuff for each provider so the will limit how many they do.
If you read the manuals for these routers online they list which providers they support. If you cannot use one of those then you either get the provider you like to tell you which router works or you load custom firmware. Many of the smaller DDNS sites assume you are using a PC and not a router to update the settings since that method works no matter what router you buy.
Is there a wireless router available that will support a free dynamic DNS provider such as freedns.afraid.org, without the need for custom firmware?
I have a device that requires DDNS, and I do not want to mess with firmware updates. I've already bricked a router trying to do that. So I'm looking for a replacement router that requires little to no modifications to use a free DDNS provider. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
