Wireless Repeater

by mantoe / May 22, 2013 9:03 PM PDT

I recently took my old Linksys wrt54g router and installed the ddrt software and now I 'm using it as a repeater. The issue i'm having is that every 24 hours I have to reset the repeater although it is saying it's connected, I can't connect. I've been tracking it for a few days to see if was a pattern and it is at the same time everyday. Is there something in the admin that can be changed to fix this? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks all

If you feel it's the repeater look for new firmware for that. But there are a lot of routers with buggy code. My rather new router arrived with a bug/defect and it took a few months before they fixed it. I would have returned it but it was not as bad as your issue.

So I got my repeater to work and now signal is great. I am using one laptop as a host so that I able to print wireless on the network. Since I switched the host computer to repeater I am not able to print from the other computers anymore. I tried finding the printer on the network nut not able too. Is there anything I something I can do to get all my computers to print on the repeater network? Host computer is running windows xp, repeater is linksys wrt54g.

Thanks all

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
