Resolved Question

Wireless Portable Phone Jack Works?

Aug 14, 2011 3:40PM PDT

I have a phone jack that is several feet away from my fax machine.

Do you think that using one of these wireless portable phone jacks would work fine? Do you think there would be any "dropped" faxes that could happen without me knowing about it? Do I need two?

Thanks!

I had one of those and yes, you'll drop a few. And how would you know unless folk told you?

There are times when several feet of wire beats wireless. This is one.

Really?

So if it can't even do fax, what is the point of having a wireless phone jack system?

I wish there was another option. I guess I will have to keep the wired dial up cord I have now. =/

Thanks.

I must have mislead you. I did not write the fax did not work, it was just more finicky. Faxing today is getting more and more finicky and this just adds to the problems.
