Wireless PCI card detects multiple networks

Feb 5, 2005 3:20AM PST

I have Linksys wireless PCI card and Netgear wireless router. What happens is the desktop on which PCI card is installed detects multiple wireless networks which is normal of course. But when it detects a new network, the wireless connection to my network gets dropped and I have to connect to my network again. This happens every 5 minutes or so. Does anyone have any idea if I can instruct my computer not to detect any networks except for mine?

Regards,
Tony.
