wireless networking

Dec 5, 2004 8:38PM PST

I had a wireless system installed by Geek Squad (including a Vonage system) about 6 months ago...We have now bought a new computer that I would like to add to the wireless network. Can anyone tell me exactly how I can do this?

What kind of new computer? Desktop? Notebook? Depending on the type of computer, what you need will vary.

Cart,

Without more information about the computers that are already connected, the new one you're going to connect, plus the "type" of wireless network you're using, hopefully the link below will assist you. :

How To Set Up A Wireless Network

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much...will try.
We have a Gateway M675 laptop, my daughter has a Toshiba laptop, and we just bought an e machine desktop for the basement. I don't know what "type" of wireless network we are using, we have a Linksys router if that tells you anything.
Between my daughter and I, we might be able to figure out what to do from the link you gave us.
Very grateful...
