Wireless network on Win7

Feb 19, 2013 4:45AM PST

I have 3 wireless laptops on my home network and quite often I need to access info on one of the other puters on network, but they go to sleep. How do I wake them up when trying to access info?

If you mean they go into sleep mode, go to power settings in control panel and change your setting(s).

Answer
Are they plugged into the A/C?

If they're plugged into the A/C, you could set them to wait longer before going into sleep mode, or you could set them to never go into sleep mode. Sleep mode on a laptop isn't going to significantly affect your power bill, most laptops only use about as much power as one incandescent light.
