Wireless network not availabe: Media state disconnected

I am having a problem with my laptop since last couple of days

I am having wireless Netgear 54mbps router at my place since long time.

Everything was working fine with my router and laptop since ages

But now when I start my laptop, Intel Wireless Adapter is unable to find any wireless networks in range.

Normally I used to get 5-6 networks including my secured home network.

Now I went through this forum and found that uninstalling Intel Wireless driver and rebooting laptop will help.

I did it twice and still no luck. All my Wireless Adapter settings are fine and no change has been made in laptop recently. IPCONFIG says Wireless and Local Area Connection: Media Disconnected

Just in case, few days ago I had a problem when I was unable to see any icons and taskbar on my screen. Somehow using Ctl+Alt+Del I was able to fix the problem.

Till then I dont have any access to internet...

I am in a trouble without Internet and I need help..!!
