Wireless network

Feb 16, 2007 12:37PM PST

I have a wireless network with a WRT54GS Router. The router is wired to one computer with WIN XP system and the other computer connected wireless with WMP54G PCI Adapter running WIN VISTA.When I run the linksys easylink advisor on the wired computer it says my network is ok with a green check mark, wireless network secured, wireless name (SSID) (BOB).But when I start the computer with WIN VISTA It logs in with a network named DAD with limited Connectivity local only. I have to manually connect to BOB every time I reboot Or shutdown the WIN VISTA computer. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO REMOVE THE NETWORK CONNECTION NAMED(DAD)FROM THE WIN VISTA COMPUTER. I have no Idea how it got on the computer.
The wired is always on line and the WIN VISTA computer stays on line always after I manually connect to (DAD). It only reverts back to (DAD) when rebooted or turned off.
