Why must it be N?

One of the tips we use to get more coverage and more is to pull back to 802.11g. But reviews of USB 802.11n products are on the web but are you asking something else, such as a dissertation on the protocol?

The Verizon broadcast hardware is transmitting on the N protocol. Need the best transmission rate possible.

The best transmission might be other than 802.11n for reasons well discussed. My favorite reason is the problem of the single non-overlapping channel in 802.11n 40 MHz OFDM.
