Replace the batteries in the mouse.
Uninstall the mouse and all its drivers and when restarting and reinstalling it, then don't install any of the brand name drivers for the mouse. Let Microsoft install its own default drivers.
Hope this helps.

I have a newer Windows 10 from Novermber, 2017. Every few days, my wireless mouse won't work. I have to re-key the computer USB port with the mouse key. Why isn't it staying up? Frustrating. Thank you.
