Question

Wireless Mouse that feels Like Wired

Aug 30, 2018 10:56AM PDT

I am looking for a reasonably priced wireless mouse that has the feel of a MS or HP wired mouse. Logitech 525 feels like goo and us virtually useless to me. I need a scroll wheel with proper damping and buttons with a discernible clicking action.
Not a precision gaming mouse just want it to feel like every wired mouse I have used.
Thank you

Not very encouraging. Seems a simple thing to do

$133 is UNreasonable

Have you found such?

I have 9 or 10 wireless mice in the bin at the office that we use when someone forgets their mouse (loaners) and all pale in performance IMO to the M601.

Does the M601 have the good wheel and buttons? Not smooth, properly damped is what I need

For me, it's fine.

While the wheel is the usual roll and you can feel the detents as they go by. Damping to me is fine but when folk get picky, all bets are off. It definitely is responsive since no RF system.

Now for hard core gamers I see them return to PS/2 mice. Here's why: USB polls, PS/2 just sends on mice actions, no polling.

This is one of those areas that at the end of the day, your choice.

But all that aside my worst mice are the ones on Bluetooth.
