I found it easily. It has the name "Belkin" on the top side of the keyboard.

connected to an IBM machine. I assumed the poster's keyboard was blank on top, so I suggested the bottom.

FYI when going cordless

Guys, pay the extra cash for a decent mouse/board cordless combo...youll be happier. The range is the biggest issue. If your over 6ft from PC,go quality !!!

i guess most people will be in front of their PC,so range isn't an issue. My comment is for couch potatos using LCD-TV,or projector as monitor. My friend has problems with a cheap cordless combo...his couch is 8ft away.
BTW,Projectors are the BOMB....10ft screen at 12ft distance,and it's pretty crisp.Playing games,characters are allmost life size!

I appreciate you guys taking the time to respond. Sarcasm notwithstanding. actually i did look on the bottom and on doing so found an inscription(using a magnifiying glass) ....."windows logo is a trademark of microsoft corp." and to the side of that "silitek corporation". at silitek's web site i got as far as (to me) an indecipherable set if digits. again,i appreciate your help guys. at the end of the day i truly am a novice.
