sounds about what I would expect for the life of a wireless keyboard that has has the typical medium amount of use. People eat and drink over both types of keyboards, so many don't even last that long!
Technology-age speaking - 4 years is ready for AARP
I like my iMac's blue tooth wireless keyboard, but, face it, there is no such thing as a really great Apple mouse, wired or not.
I use and like my PC's Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite keyboard & mouse set. I am a heavy user so rechargeable batteries are appropriate or I would be buying batteries too often for it.
My four-year-old Logitech wireless keyboard just gave up and I am quite displeased on this technology. Are they supposed to work only so few years? I still have an Apple Mac Classic computer (wired keyboard) purchased in 1990 that works fine. I didn't expect the wireless keyboard to go worthless so soon. Is there a way to salvage this keyboard? The wireless mouse that came with this set works fine though. Is it better in the long run to have wired keyboard/mouse? My daughters and I enjoyed placing the wireless keyboard on lap while typing.
