Wireless Internet Help

by HardonCollider / September 28, 2009 4:21 AM PDT

I have a wireless network connecting two computers to the internet. The upstairs one works fine, but the downstairs is having some trouble.

The computer uses windows vista and has a linksys router. It has been working beautifully for a year or so. This week it has stopped working. I checked the wires and cables, they are alright. The computer picks up the router (right router, mind you), but does not connect to the internet. The modem and router are working. I believe is something with the ip address. I can pull up the configip/all, but don't really know what all that means, if you need.

Thank you in advance.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
