wireless internet - cutting out after 10 mins

Feb 11, 2005 4:54AM PST

I recently installed a new security package to my computer,(firewall, virus scanner etc.)however didn't remove the existing security package and subsequently the only way to restart my compiter was to reinstall windows XP. All is fine regarding security but i am having problems with my wireless internet connection.
Before my internet was always on, i.e. i was always connected to the network, however now it seems to cut out after 10 minutes displaying "Wireless network connection: one or more networks are available" where i have to reconnect. It is intensely annoying. Does anyione know what i need to do? Thanks in anticipation.
