Resolved Question

Wireless internet connection

I have a work laptop that won't let me download a wireless adapter. My internet router is in the living room. But, to hardwire the laptop, I would need to be in the living room and I really need to work in the bedroom for peace and quiet and sanity's sake.

Is there an adapter I can plug into the wall and then hardwire into my laptop in the bedroom?

TIA
