Wireless Internet and USB 2.0 Upgrade

by denverrealtor / December 17, 2004 4:49 AM PST

I have finally been talked into going internet DSL wireless. I have ordered from Qwest the Actiontec GT701-wg modem with built in wireless network card. I have a Dell 2500 Inspiron 2500. I know I need to purchase a PC card. I want to get 802.1g. Do I have to purchase a Dell PC card or even a Actiontec PC card. I have been told that I do not. Is this correct? Also, my Dell has 1.01(I think) USB. Can I upgrade to a 2.0 and if so is that with a HUB or do I need to open up my computer and have it internally inserted?
Thanks all and enjoy the Holidays

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
