Take advantage of it. It's like it won't work on another PC since you noted "receiver won't..."
Bob
Had this mouse and used it trouble free for about 9 months. About 10 days ago it began to act very erratically.
Noticed it first when computer would not wake, noticed the receiver green indicator not lit. Altho the batteries were fresh, replaced them with new.
The mouse worked for several hours-then seemed to "disconnect". Repaced the batteries again. Receiver still would not come alive. Disconnected and then reconnected the USB-and the mouse worked for a couple of hours. Then a disconnect while using.
This has been aggravating and has now been accompanied by very jerky and intermittent pointer movements even during the short times it will stay "active".
Have checked every thing I can think of on the pooter. Done the Intellimouse help and troubleshooter and then to the MS site. Nothing has helped to provide an answer.
Computer is Dell 8400, XP home
Would appreciate help and suggestions-meanwhile back to the world of "wired"
Thank you
Tom
