Wireless in China

Jul 13, 2009 6:47PM PDT

I have a Linksys WRH54G wireless router that I brought with me from the U.S. to China. As in, I bought it in the U.S. It doesn't work here; I found out that the internal settings have to be configured ("synchronized with the Chinese ISP", I was told by Linksys Customer Support.) I cannot communicate with the router when it is connected to my computer. How can I use it here?

I don't know what other details, if any, I need, so I'll provide more if I know the answer when requested. Thanks.
