Resolved Question

Wireless headphones with Samsung TV with no audio out

Aug 18, 2016 11:06AM PDT

So I bought a Samsung UN32J5003, a TaoTronics Wireless Portable Transmitter, "Sound Intone P6 Stereo Bluetooth Headphones" and a Chromecast.

I'm trying to get these wireless headphones to work with this TV that has no 3.5mm audio out jack for some reason. It won't pick up the Chromecast audio from the HDMI channel. I used the RCA to audio out cable that came with the Bluetooth transmitter but it still doesn't work. Now I'm not sure what converter or adapter or transmitter I'm supposed to buy. What idiot designed a television without an audio out jack?

Clarification Request
The HDTV had a partial part number. I'll use this one.

I see it has "Digital Audio Out (Optical)" so to solve this one you try those optical to analog convertors you find on amazon. Stick to the best sellers in the top 10.

The audio out jack vanishes on the low cost models. It's not that much but when dealing with getting the lowest cost at Walmart this has to go.

Be sure to watch out for optical audio settings. May have to be sure it's stereo, PCM or other to work. No one finds support in doing this.
