But I only deploy WAPs for extending as extenders can be hit and miss. Also, since routers can be used as a WAP that's usually what we end up deploying.
As you are an IT person I didn't define WAP or how to research how to use a router as a WAP.
I am new to IT so am having a bit of trouble with this item (link is at end of question). I would like to extend my wireless connection to my basement with this item so I can connect wired devices (NAS and Server) to my wireless network. Will this item work for this purpose?
