Wireless Connection

Sep 30, 2005 12:06PM PDT

I am using Windows XP. I have a wireless adapter so I can connect to the Internet without having a lot of cords going through the house. 1. I have a Westell Adapter. When I was installing, i got a note saying that the adapter was not compatible for Windows XP. If I continued installation, some changes would be made either now or later. Those changes could be bad. I was told my the Tech Support to install anyway. 2. After I installed it said that I have an unsecure connection. How do I go about getting a secure connection?
