Wireless connection

Will Series 5 540 connect to my wireless LAN? I just want to view my PC from the TV. If not will an update enable ability to connect wirelessly? I can connect via video cable, but don't want to. I plugged Edimax wireless USB into the TV's USB port, but TV does not recognize it (everything else does!) Does the TV only recognize the Samsung wireless dongle?

I only want to connect to my laptop to view what is on it's screen. I am not trying to connect directly to the internet from the TV.

WiFi is for a lot of things but to get your display on the TV over WiFi requires more than what this model has.

Look up Wireless HDMI which always works for me. Figure about 200 bucks to do this.
